Collutabs contains amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, two antiseptics, and lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anesthetic for the throat. It is indicated for the local relief of sore throat symptoms in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Indication
Local relief of sore throat symptoms.

Use
Adults and adolescents over 12: Allow one lozenge to slowly dissolve in mouth every 2-3 hours, with a maximum of 8 lozenges in a 24 hour period (maximum 4 lozenges for children).

Composition
The active substances of this medicine are: Lidocaine hydrochloride 2.00 mg, Amylmethacresol 0.60 mg, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.50 mg.

The other ingredients of this medication are: Peppermint Oil, Partially Demineralised Star Anise Oil, Levomenthol, Indigo Carmine (E132), Quinoline Yellow (E104), Sodium Saccharinate (E954), Tartaric Acid (E334), isomalt (E-953), maltitol (E-965).
