PRODUCT PURPOSE
GelPro compresses are medical devices used to treat and alleviate joint and
muscle pain. They should be applied directly to the painful area. Cold compresses provide long-term relief from moderate to severe pain. Hot compresses provide short-term relief from mild and chronic pain.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Failure to follow these precautions may result in serious injury.

• Before each use, check the condition of the compress, especially to ensure the outer packaging is intact.

• Do not cut the product.

• Individuals allergic to the outer materials of this product (Chinlon, Spandex) should not use it on broken skin.

• Do not use on sensitive areas.

• This product is for external use only; do not swallow.

• Children should use it under adult supervision.

• Avoid use by individuals with end-stage circulatory dysfunction or those who are unable to manage their own affairs.

• Consult a doctor before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, or if you are pregnant.

• Be careful when removing from the microwave; the pack may be very hot. If it’s too hot, set it aside until it has cooled down enough for comfortable application. Always test the pack’s temperature before each application.

• To avoid frostbite, which can occur if the pack is too cold for your skin, set it aside until it reaches a tolerable temperature. If the pack isn’t cold enough, place it in the freezer for an additional 20 minutes.

• Apply heat/cold to the affected area for up to 20 minutes, with 20-minute breaks between applications.

• Caution: Heating for longer than recommended may cause physical injury or damage your microwave.

• Do not wear while sleeping. Check skin frequently during use. If you experience irritation or burning, remove the product immediately.

• DO NOT use if the contents of the hot/cold pack are leaking and/or if the wrapper is damaged or torn. If the contents of the hot/cold pack come into contact with your eyes, remove the wrapper, rinse the affected area with water, and seek immediate medical attention.

• DO NOT apply with pain-relieving creams or lotions, medicated ointments, or creams.

• DO NOT use on broken, damaged, or broken skin, or apply hot to bruised or swollen areas that have occurred within the last 48 hours, or to areas of the body where you do not feel heat or cold, or with other forms of heat or cold.

• DO NOT use on individuals unable to remove the product themselves, such as children, babies, some elderly people, or those unable to follow all instructions for use.

• DO NOT apply additional pressure to the product.

• DO NOT overheat.

• DO NOT swallow the product or its contents. Keep out of reach of children and pets. • Stop use and consult a doctor if pain worsens or persists for more than 7 days, or if you experience any discomfort, burning, swelling, rash, or other changes in your skin.

USE
Cooling Instructions:
1. Store the package in the freezer with a storage bag so it is always ready for cold application. Refrigerate the package for at least 2 hours before use.

2. Check that the package is at the correct temperature before application.

3. If it is too cold, it is best to wrap it in a towel or soft cloth before applying it to the skin.
Microwave Method:
1. Start with a pack at room temperature.

2. Place the pack in the center of the clean microwave turntable (without touching the sides). Make sure that any additional microwave functions, such as browning, are turned off.

3. Heat the pack in 20-second intervals at medium power until it reaches the desired temperature.

After removing it from the microwave, knead and flex the gel pack to distribute the heat evenly.

4. Check that the pack is at the right temperature before applying.

5. If more heat is needed, reheat in 10-second increments until the desired temperature is reached for comfortable application. Before heating, check if any parts of the pack are too hot

(this usually happens at the ends of the pack), then knead it to make the temperature even, rotate

the pack 180 degrees, and heat it in the microwave. NEVER OVERHEAT.

Treatment:

1. Choose the appropriate product.

2. Check if the compress is damaged. If it is damaged, do not use this product.

3. Depending on the intended use and the microwave cooling/heating instructions mentioned above,

cool/heat the product.

4. Place the product on the affected area for a maximum of 20 minutes, with 20-minute breaks between
applications.

To ensure optimal lifespan, check the product for damage, including punctures, before each use.

MAINTENANCE
Failure to maintain your product may result in serious injury.

• Cleaning: After use, wipe with a damp cloth and allow the packs to air dry completely before reusing them. The pack is not machine washable.

• Do not use alcohol or any other solvent to wash the compress.

• In case of wear or tear, do not attempt to repair the product: discard it or contact an authorized dealer to find out if it can be repaired by IDENTITES Customer Service.

CHANGE OF PATIENT
The product can be reused. It must first be cleaned and disinfected according to hygiene and decontamination guidelines. When changing patients, remember to give the instructions to the new user. The product must first be inspected to ensure it is in good condition.
RECYCLING
When the product is no longer usable and you need to dispose of it: please contact the service responsible for the disposal of this type of waste. If you wish to recycle the product yourself, ask your local waste management company for instructions.

STORAGE
Failure to comply with storage conditions may result in product deterioration and therefore a risk of serious injury.
Keep away from flames and sources of sparks.
Seal the packaging in a bag and store at room temperature.
Follow the storage guidelines for your products: – In a dry, temperate location – Protect your product from dust with packaging – Do not place heavy loads on it.
