Evening primrose, also known as evening primrose, is English. It is particularly rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids which promote the balance between the different prostaglandins. These are small molecules that are known to act on premenstrual syndrome: headaches and painful swelling and tension in the breasts and stomach. Polyunsaturated fatty acids also help maintain skin suppleness and elasticity.
