Furacine ointment is used:
– to treat bacterial infections of wounds and burns
– to prevent bacterial infections of wounds and burns
– in case of skin transplants
You should contact your doctor if you experience no improvement or feel less well after 5 to 7 days.
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.

How to use them:
– Infected wounds:
After cleansing the wound, apply Furacine Soluble Dressing directly to the wound. – Burns:
In all cases, run cold water for 15 minutes first to limit the burn.
Then apply Furacine Soluble Dressing in the same way as directed on the infected wounds. Severe burns should be treated in hospital. Frequency and duration:
– For infected wounds, Furacine is usually applied twice a day. If no improvement has been seen after 5-7 days of treatment, see a doctor.
– For burns, do not apply more than once per day. The doctor will decide how often the dressing needs to be changed.
What Furacine contains
– The active substance is nitrofural 2 mg / g or 2 mg / ml.
– The other components are
o Furacine Soluble Dressing: macrogol 300, 1000, 3000.
