Tegaderm Film is an extra-thin transparent and sterile polyurethane dressing in individual packaging. Its adhesive surface is made of hypo-allergenic acrylic, with long-lasting adhesion power. This semi-permeable dressing allows skin perspiration.

Its exclusive application system considerably facilitates the work of nursing staff.

Tegaderm Film is available in different sizes; the range contains a special model for I.V. catheter. For the many advantages and indications of this dressing, please refer to our brochure. Tegaderm I.V., reinforced with Medipore, combines in the same “system”, the transparent Tegaderm Film dressing with the non-woven Medipore plaster. The transparent film covers and protects the entire surface and allows monitoring of the puncture site. The Medipore part as well as the two retaining strips help to strengthen the fixation of the catheter. Part number 1633 was specifically designed to hold peripheral catheters with a lateral or winged injection site, while Part number 1610 is smaller and was developed for pediatric patients.
