Vetoquinol Uropet is a paste supplement designed to help prevent the formation of urinary stones in dogs and cats. Its main ingredient, DL-methionine, acidifies the urine and reduces the recurrence of inorganic phosphate stones. It is particularly useful in cases of feline urological syndrome or in animals predisposed to urinary stones.

DL-methionine (80,000 mg/kg)
Glucose syrup
Malt
Soybean oil
Fish oil
Cane molasses
Hydrolyzed pork collagen
Dosage
Dogs: ½ – 3 teaspoons (2-3 times daily), depending on the size and weight of the animal.
Cats: ½ – 1 teaspoon (3-6 g, 2-3 times daily).
Administer directly into the mouth, mixed with food or drinking water.
Recommended for use up to 6 months of age. Consult a veterinarian before starting treatment.
