The test electrodes are designed for the quantitative measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh capillary whole blood collected from the fingertip, forearm, upper arm or base of the thumb in patients with diabetes.<\/p>\n
FreeStyle Precision blood glucose test electrodes are intended for use with the FreeStyle Precision Neo and FreeStyle Libre meters.<\/p>\n
The dosing electrodes are for external use. They can be used both by the patient himself (self-monitoring) and by healthcare professionals. These systems are not intended to be used for the diagnosis of diabetes, but are to be used as an aid in monitoring the effectiveness of diabetes control programs.<\/p>\n
