Antistax Forte is used in adults for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency characterized by tired, heavy and painful legs, night cramps in the calves, itching and edema (swollen legs).<\/p>\n
Use
\nAdults and adolescents> 18 years<\/p>\n
1 tablet \/ day (max. 2 tablets \/ day)
\nmax. 12 weeks, prolonged use on doctor’s recommendation.<\/p>\n
Before breakfast, with a little water
\nThe tablets should be swallowed whole<\/p>\n
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt. The recommended dose for adults is 1 film-coated tablet per day. This dose can be increased to 2 film-coated tablets per day to be taken in the morning. Swallow Antistax Forte whole with a little water before breakfast. The duration of treatment depends on the symptoms. Take Antistax Forte for several weeks (not more than 3 months). If you don’t see any improvement in your symptoms within 2 weeks, see your doctor as the edema could have other causes. Long-term use is possible in consultation with a doctor.<\/p>\n
Composition
\n-The active substance is: Dry extract of red vine leaves. One film-coated tablet contains 360 mg of dry extract of red vine leaves (4-6: 1) (Dry extract of Vitis vinifera L., folium (4-6: 1).
