Transdermal Hexomedine is an antiseptic for external use.
\nTransdermal Hexomedine (through the skin) is used in the adjunctive treatment of localized infections of the skin, including infections of the hair follicles (folliculitis) and nails
\n(perionyxis).
\nYou should contact your doctor if you experience no improvement or feel less well after 3 to 4 days.<\/p>\n
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
\nIt is recommended to apply the pure transdermal Hexomedine solution, therefore undiluted, twice a day in a wet bandage for 30 to 45 minutes, or to bathe the finger directly in the solution
\ncontained in the vial for 1 to 3 minutes (the vial is designed to soak the infected finger). There is no need to rinse after application.
\nDo not use the transdermal solution on open wounds or mucous membranes or under a dressing that prevents dehydration of the wound (occlusive dressing).
\nDo not use beyond 5 days, especially if applying to the skin of an infant.<\/p>\n
