Losferron is used for the prevention and treatment of anemia caused by iron deficiency.
\nEach effervescent tablet contains 695 mg of ferrous gluconate (corresponding to 80.5 mg of bivalent iron).<\/p>\n
How to use Losferron
\nAlways use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
\nAdults:
\n1 effervescent tablet per day.
\nIn more severe anemia, the dose can be increased to 2 or 3 \u00bd tablets per day divided into two or three divided doses.<\/p>\n
Children:
\nLosferron effervescent tablets are not recommended for children weighing less than 14 kg. For children weighing 14 kg or more, 3 mg \/ kg body weight \/ day of elemental iron should be given, corresponding to \u00bd to 1 effervescent tablet per day. A daily dose of more than 5 mg \/ kg of body weight should not be exceeded and the maximum daily dose should not be more than 100 mg of elemental iron.<\/p>\n

\nAscorbic acid, citric acid anhydrous, tartaric acid, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, orange yellow S (E 110), flavor
