Norgalax is a laxative in the form of a rectal gel.
\nNorgalax is used for:
\n– symptomatic treatment of occasional constipation of the last part of the colon (the colon
\nsigmoid) or rectum.
\n– prepare the colon and \/ or rectum for an examination.
\nYou should contact your doctor if you experience no improvement or if you feel less well.<\/p>\n
How to use Norgalax?
\nAlways use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
\nThe usual dose is:
\nAdults and children from 12 years old: Administer a single tube-cannula rectally.
\nIf the effect is insufficient, a second tube can be given on the same day or the next day.
\nChildren under 12: Not recommended.<\/p>\n
Remove the cap and fully insert the cannula into the rectum, then squeeze the tube to empty it.
\nGradually pull out the tube while squeezing. Leave on for 5 to 20 minutes.
\nAs with all laxatives, use of the drug for a long time should be avoided. It is necessary
\ntrying to treat chronic constipation by adjusting lifestyle and eating habits.<\/p>\n
What Norgalax contains
\n– The active substance is sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate. A single-dose container with cannula
\ncontains 120 mg of sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate.
