Hirudoid is a cream against inflammation of the skin and veins.
\nHirudoid can be used:
\n– As an adjuvant treatment of hematomas, contusions, effusions, edemas (accumulations of water).
\n– In the prevention and treatment of superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of a superficial vein causing a blood clot, usually in the leg). If, for example, you
\nsuffer from heavy legs or varicose veins, the risk of superficial thrombophlebitis increases.<\/p>\n
– In the prevention and treatment of complications during infiltrations secondary to infusions or injections into a vein.
\nYou should contact your doctor if you do not feel any improvement or if you feel less well after 14 days.<\/p>\n
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
\nIf after 14 days no improvement appears, please consult your doctor.
\nApply a 3 to 5 cm length of Hirudoid Cream several times a day to the affected areas and around them. If needed, for example, at the start of treatment, you can apply more cream. Work the cream into the skin with a gentle massage.<\/p>\n
If inflammation is particularly painful or if blood clots have formed, gently spread Hirudoid Cream over the affected area and the surrounding area. Then cover the skin with a gauze pad, for example.<\/p>\n
Always wash your hands after application<\/p>\n
What Hirudoid contains:<\/p>\n
The active substance is mucopolysaccharide polysulfate. 100 g of cream contains 300 mg of mucopolysaccharide polysulfate.<\/p>\n
