Lansoyl Paraffin is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of constipation.
\nWarning: constipation must first be treated with a change in lifestyle

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as
\ninstructions from your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist in case
\ndoubt.
\nIf you do not see any improvement, please see your doctor again.
\nAdults and children over 15:
\n1 to 3 tablespoons per day. Children from 4 to 15 years old:
\n1 to 3 teaspoons per day.
\nThe use of Lansoyl Paraffin is not recommended in children under 4 years old.
\n1 tablespoon (15 ml)
\n1 teaspoon (5 ml)
\nThe intake can take place in one or several times, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach, or two hours
\nbefore or after the main meal and the possible intake of fat-soluble vitamins. If the drug is
\ntaken in the evening, it is recommended not to lie down for two hours after taking it and to keep
\ntake into account that the effect of Lansoyl Paraffin does not occur until 6 to 8 hours after taking it.
\nN.B .: in children, the administration of laxatives should be exceptional, given that it can
\nobstacle to the normal functioning of the defecation reflex.
\nProlonged use of laxatives should be avoided. Do not use Lansoyl Paraffin for more than 15 days.
\nChronic constipation requires an adaptation of diet and lifestyle.<\/p>\n
