Dosage:
\nAlways use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
\nThe recommended dose is:
\nSyroxyl 250 mg \/ 5 ml syrup:
\n– Suitable for children and adults.
\nNote: The Siroxyl children form is best suited for children.
\n– Will not be administered to children under 2 years of age.
\n– The medicine is accompanied by a cup graduated to 5 ml, 7.5 ml and 15 ml<\/p>\n
Do not exceed the quantities indicated:
\n* 2 to 5 years: 5 ml twice a day,
\nor 500 mg of carbocisteine \u200b\u200bper day.
\n* 5 to 12 years old: 7.5 ml twice a day,
\nor 750 mg of carbocisteine \u200b\u200bper day.
\n* 12 to 15 years old: 15 ml twice a day,
\nor 1500 mg of carbocisteine \u200b\u200bper day.
\n* adults (from 15 years old): 30 ml twice a day,
\nor 3 g of carbocisteine \u200b\u200bper day.<\/p>\n
