PRODUCT PURPOSE
\nGelPro compresses are medical devices used to treat and alleviate joint and
\nmuscle pain. They should be applied directly to the painful area. Cold compresses provide long-term relief from moderate to severe pain. Hot compresses provide short-term relief from mild and chronic pain.<\/p>\n
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE<\/p>\n
Failure to follow these precautions may result in serious injury.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Before each use, check the condition of the compress, especially to ensure the outer packaging is intact.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Do not cut the product.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Individuals allergic to the outer materials of this product (Chinlon, Spandex) should not use it on broken skin.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Do not use on sensitive areas.<\/p>\n
\u2022 This product is for external use only; do not swallow.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Children should use it under adult supervision.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Avoid use by individuals with end-stage circulatory dysfunction or those who are unable to manage their own affairs.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Consult a doctor before use if you have diabetes, poor circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, or if you are pregnant.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Be careful when removing from the microwave; the pack may be very hot. If it’s too hot, set it aside until it has cooled down enough for comfortable application. Always test the pack’s temperature before each application.<\/p>\n
\u2022 To avoid frostbite, which can occur if the pack is too cold for your skin, set it aside until it reaches a tolerable temperature. If the pack isn’t cold enough, place it in the freezer for an additional 20 minutes.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Apply heat\/cold to the affected area for up to 20 minutes, with 20-minute breaks between applications.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Caution: Heating for longer than recommended may cause physical injury or damage your microwave.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Do not wear while sleeping. Check skin frequently during use. If you experience irritation or burning, remove the product immediately.<\/p>\n
\u2022 DO NOT use if the contents of the hot\/cold pack are leaking and\/or if the wrapper is damaged or torn. If the contents of the hot\/cold pack come into contact with your eyes, remove the wrapper, rinse the affected area with water, and seek immediate medical attention.<\/p>\n
\u2022 DO NOT apply with pain-relieving creams or lotions, medicated ointments, or creams.<\/p>\n
\u2022 DO NOT use on broken, damaged, or broken skin, or apply hot to bruised or swollen areas that have occurred within the last 48 hours, or to areas of the body where you do not feel heat or cold, or with other forms of heat or cold.<\/p>\n

USE
\nCooling Instructions:
\n1. Store the package in the freezer with a storage bag so it is always ready for cold application. Refrigerate the package for at least 2 hours before use.<\/p>\n
2. Check that the package is at the correct temperature before application.<\/p>\n
3. If it is too cold, it is best to wrap it in a towel or soft cloth before applying it to the skin.
\nMicrowave Method:
\n1. Start with a pack at room temperature.<\/p>\n
2. Place the pack in the center of the clean microwave turntable (without touching the sides). Make sure that any additional microwave functions, such as browning, are turned off.<\/p>\n
3. Heat the pack in 20-second intervals at medium power until it reaches the desired temperature.<\/p>\n
After removing it from the microwave, knead and flex the gel pack to distribute the heat evenly.<\/p>\n
4. Check that the pack is at the right temperature before applying.<\/p>\n
5. If more heat is needed, reheat in 10-second increments until the desired temperature is reached for comfortable application. Before heating, check if any parts of the pack are too hot<\/p>\n
(this usually happens at the ends of the pack), then knead it to make the temperature even, rotate<\/p>\n
the pack 180 degrees, and heat it in the microwave. NEVER OVERHEAT.<\/p>\n
Treatment:<\/p>\n
1. Choose the appropriate product.<\/p>\n
2. Check if the compress is damaged. If it is damaged, do not use this product.<\/p>\n
3. Depending on the intended use and the microwave cooling\/heating instructions mentioned above,<\/p>\n
cool\/heat the product.<\/p>\n
4. Place the product on the affected area for a maximum of 20 minutes, with 20-minute breaks between
\napplications.<\/p>\n
To ensure optimal lifespan, check the product for damage, including punctures, before each use.<\/p>\n

\nMAINTENANCE

\u2022 Cleaning: After use, wipe with a damp cloth and allow the packs to air dry completely before reusing them. The pack is not machine washable.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Do not use alcohol or any other solvent to wash the compress.<\/p>\n
\u2022 In case of wear or tear, do not attempt to repair the product: discard it or contact an authorized dealer to find out if it can be repaired by IDENTITES Customer Service.<\/p>\n
CHANGE OF PATIENT
\nThe product can be reused. It must first be cleaned and disinfected according to hygiene and decontamination guidelines. When changing patients, remember to give the instructions to the new user. The product must first be inspected to ensure it is in good condition.
\nRECYCLING
\nWhen the product is no longer usable and you need to dispose of it: please contact the service responsible for the disposal of this type of waste. If you wish to recycle the product yourself, ask your local waste management company for instructions.<\/p>\n
STORAGE
