Indication<\/p>\n
Dry and irritating cough.
\nNoscapine reduces the cough reflex and is used for the symptomatic treatment of non-productive coughs. Indicated for adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years of age.<\/p>\n
Use<\/p>\n
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.<\/p>\n
To open the bottle, press down on the child-resistant cap while turning it counterclockwise.<\/p>\n
The recommended dose is 15 to 30 ml, 3 to 4 times a day (24 hours).
\nThe maximum daily dose is 120 ml.
\nThe interval between doses should be at least 4 hours.<\/p>\n
Use in children and adolescents:<\/p>\n
Children 12 years and older: 15 ml, 4 to 5 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 75 ml.<\/p>\n
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 15 ml, 2 to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 60 ml.<\/p>\n
Children under 6 years: The use of Nosca-M\u00e9r\u00e9prine syrup is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.<\/p>\n
Elderly patients: Elderly patients may be more sensitive due to the slower metabolism of noscapine. A dose reduction may therefore be necessary in these patients. If you feel that the effect of Nosca-M\u00e9r\u00e9prine syrup is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.<\/p>\n
Method of administration: The dose should be measured using the graduated cup provided. Do not exceed the stated doses. Do not use the syrup for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor. If you have taken more Nosca-M\u00e9r\u00e9prine syrup than you should have
\nSymptoms of a Nosca-M\u00e9r\u00e9prine syrup overdose include: agitation, confusion, anxiety, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, difficulty breathing due to bronchospasm, shortness of breath, flushing, rapid heartbeat, and a temporary drop in blood pressure.<\/p>\n

What Nosca-M\u00e9r\u00e9prine syrup contains:<\/p>\n
The active ingredient is noscapine hydrochloride, at a concentration of 1 mg per ml of syrup.<\/p>\n
