Canestene Intim 1% cream contains clotrimazole. Clotrimazole belongs to a certain group of
medicines called imidazoles. It is a medicine for the treatment of fungal diseases of
female and male external sexual organs (vulvitis, balanitis) induced by Candida.

Apply 2-3 times a day to the affected area of the skin and work into the skin by
massaging lightly. In most cases, a small amount of cream is sufficient to treat a
area equivalent to about a palm of a hand.
In case of fungal infection of the skin and mucous membranes of the female external sexual organs and
male external sexual organs, and to prevent re-infection, the partner
must be simultaneously treated locally with Canestene Intim 1% cream. The cream is applied
2 to 3 times a day per massage.
