The benefit of psyllium lies in its mechanical action. In the intestine, the mucilage absorbs water and creates a viscous gel that is not absorbed by the body. This regulates the movement of the contents of the small and large intestines. The lubricating psyllium gel then facilitates the elimination of stool and hairballs. A lack of activity in some sedentary cats living indoors can lead to slowed digestive transit. Digestive problems related to hairballs or constipation may occur. Psyllium has positive effects on their digestive transit.

Directions for use:
Dogs: 1 teaspoon per 10 kg/day.

Cats: ½ teaspoon per day.

Mix with food. Ensure the animal has access to fresh water. Moisten the food if necessary. The quantity can be doubled if needed.
