During intense physical activity, blisters are sometimes unavoidable. That’s when Compeed® Extreme Blister Plasters come in handy. Thanks to its extra-thick gel pad with a honeycomb structure, this Compeed® offers 20% more protection than a regular Compeed®.
Blisters are caused by constant pressure and friction in one spot. Blisters are more common when your feet are too hot or damp. These factors almost always combine during intense physical activity.
A blister is a fluid-filled pocket that forms just under the top layer of skin, usually filled with clear fluid. If you do nothing and continue your activity, the blister will rupture, further damaging the skin and causing it to bleed.
If you already have a blister, a Compeed® Extreme plaster will provide immediate pain relief thanks to its extra-thick gel pad, which significantly reduces pressure on the blister. Additional friction will be minimized, allowing you to continue your sporting activities more easily. The hydrocolloid gel inside the plaster absorbs excess moisture and provides optimal conditions for skin healing.
Are you planning a prolonged activity and want to be as prepared as possible? Then use a Compeed® Extreme plaster, which you should apply beforehand. Thanks to its very strong structure, you will benefit from optimal protection.
Indication
For immediate pain relief from very painful blisters.
Use
How to apply and remove the plaster:
1. Clean and dry the skin before use. The affected area must be free of cream or oily residue.
2. Remove the plaster from its packaging and peel off the white embossed protective paper.
3. Remove the protective paper stamped with the Compeed® logo, being careful not to touch the adhesive part.
4. Firmly apply the plaster to the blister, without touching the adhesive part, and ensure that the edges are flattened. Only remove the plaster when it begins to peel off (Note: the plaster can remain in place for several days).
5. To remove the plaster: slowly pull it off the skin.
