A long walk, an evening out, or wearing new shoes are just a few situations we all recognize that often end with painful blisters on our feet.
Blisters are caused by the constant pressure and friction from shoes or socks. Blisters are more common when your feet are too hot or damp.
A blister is a fluid-filled pocket that forms just under the top layer of skin, usually filled with clear fluid. If you do nothing and continue your activities, the blister will rupture, further damaging the skin and causing it to bleed.
Compeed® Blister Plasters provide immediate relief and accelerate healing. The gel pad distributes pressure on the blister and also eliminates friction. The hydrocolloid gel in the plaster absorbs excess moisture and provides optimal conditions for skin healing.
Want to get back to your normal activities? Use a Compeed® Plaster as soon as you feel a blister forming. You can apply a Compeed® Plaster in advance to areas where you expect a blister to form. With the Compeed® Mixpack, you have one Compeed® Plaster for each blister.
Indication
Pain relief and blister healing.
Use
How to apply and remove the plaster:
1. Clean and dry the skin before use. The area must be free of cream or oily residue.
2. Remove the plaster from its packaging and peel off the protective paper stamped with the Compeed® logo, being careful not to touch the adhesive part.
3. Firmly apply the plaster to the blister, without touching the adhesive part, and ensure that the edges are flattened. Only remove the plaster when it begins to peel off (Note: the plaster can remain in place for several days).
5. To remove the plaster: pull it slowly along the skin.
Precautions:
If you have diabetes, consult a doctor before use.
Do not use on an infected wound.
If the blister worsens or does not heal, consult a doctor.
Do not reuse a plaster to avoid infection.
