Flubenol Kh treats worm infestations
In dogs:
Roundworms: Toxocara canis (adult stages), Toxascaris leonina (adult stages).
Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adult stages).
Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala (adult stages), Ancylostoma caninum (adult stages).
In cats:
Roundworms: Toxocara cati (adult stages), Toxascaris leonina (adult stages).
Hookworms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme (adult stages).
Cestodermis: Taenia taeniaeformis (adult stages).
Instructions for use:
Remove the safety cap;
Hold the plunger while locking the adjustment ring on the subdivision corresponding to the animal’s body weight in kilograms;
Administer the paste;
For subsequent administrations, add the animal’s body weight to the number corresponding to the previously used subdivision;
Lock the ring on the subdivision corresponding to the total obtained.
Method of administration:
The paste can be administered in one of the following ways:
Inject the exact dose directly into the dog’s or cat’s mouth;
Mix the exact dose with food (this method of administration is recommended for animals that are difficult to handle or aggressive);
The syringe contains enough paste to treat a 5 kg animal for 3 days.
Dosage:
1 ml per 2 kg of body weight = 22 mg/kg;
Dogs and cats infested with roundworms and hookworms:
1 ml of paste per 2 kg of body weight;
once a day, to be administered for 2 consecutive days.
Dogs and cats infested with other species of worms:
1 ml of paste per 2 kg of body weight;
once a day;
to be administered for 3 consecutive days.
