Maalox® Antacid and Maalox® Antacid Forte are medicines based on aluminum hydroxide (hydrated aluminum oxide) and magnesium hydroxide.

Maalox® Antacid and Maalox® Antacid Forte are indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of gastric acidity and stomach pain. This means that you cannot use these medicines for more than 14 days without consulting a doctor. It is also important to stop treatment as soon as your symptoms disappear.

Indication
Short-term symptomatic treatment of gastric acidity (heartburn) and gastric pain.

Use
Adults and adolescents> 12 years

1 to 2 tablet (s) per dose, preferably one hour after meals and at bedtime
If necessary, an additional dose 2 hours later
Maximum 7 catches per day

Chew or suck the tablets

Composition
1 chewable tablet contains 400 mg of hydrated aluminum oxide (= 200 mg of aluminum oxide), 400 mg of magnesium hydroxide, 259.2 mg of sucrose and 125 mg of sorbitol.
