Description

Stress, whatever the cause, nutritional, biochemical, bacteriological, viral, thermal, psychological, environmental, constantly attacks our cells and threatens our balance. To allow the survival of cells subjected to a state of shock, our organism has developed a mechanism of protection in the face of different stresses, by expressing proteins known under the name of “thermal shock proteins” or “stress proteins” (Heat Shock proteins or HSPs).
HSP proteins are proteins whose role is to repair damaged proteins following cellular stress, thus allowing them to function properly.
