Teoliance® CBM588® is a food supplement formulated with an exclusive probiotic strain: Clostridium butyricum CBM588®. Probiotics are defined as live microorganisms that, when administered in adequate amounts, confer a health benefit on the host. They target disorders related to digestive health and gut flora, two fundamental elements for overall well-being. Disruptions of the gut microbiota, also known as dysbiosis, can be associated with various conditions, ranging from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) to Leaky Gut Syndrome (LBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). These disorders can lead to inflammation and a weakened intestinal barrier.

Certain probiotics promote intestinal well-being and optimal gut balance through an indirect but fundamental role in the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), such as butyrate, naturally produced by gut bacteria during digestion, particularly through the fermentation of dietary fiber.
