The balance in omega-3, 6, 9
Fatty acids belong to the family of lipids, commonly referred to as “fats” or “fats”. Through diet, it is important to ensure the right balance between omega-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.
Omega-9 are monounsaturated fatty acids, composed in particular of oleic acid. Omega-6 and 3 are polyunsaturated fatty acids. These are called essential because the body does not know how to synthesize them. In some situations, food does not meet the body’s needs. This is the case, for example, of a diet low in fish or an excessive consumption of saturated fatty acids (present in industrial products).
Super Gamma Linolenic balances its intake of unsaturated fatty acids. It contains omega-3, 6 and 9 type fatty acids. Evening primrose and borage oils are obtained by first cold pressing and certified organic.
Evening primrose and borage oils are rich in omega-6 and 9. Fish oil provides the desired supply of omega-3: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
