The Puressentiel® mist-humidifier diffuser offers 3 types of use: – Diffusion of essential oils by misting: The diffuser is equipped with an ultrasonic diffusion system delivering a light water mist. With a few drops of essential oils, the water is loaded with aromatic molecules dispersing into fine droplets (microparticles). This diffusion system perfectly preserves the properties of essential oils.

Air humidification: The diffuser is also used as a real air humidifier, it is ideal for too dry atmospheres, it thus improves the comfort of the respiratory tract. Note> this air humidification can be done with or without adding essential oils. Thanks to its large reservoir, the misting-humidification can last more than 12 hours. Its use is therefore ideal in the event of a dry atmosphere: period of significant heat, dry mountain air, overheated room (electric or fireplace heating), children’s room?

Air ionization: The ultrasonic vibration produced by the diffuser promotes the production of negative ions beneficial to health, they are known to be soothing and energizing. In nature, these negative ions are created by the clashing of water molecules produced by waterfalls in the mountains, waves in the sea?

This diffuser can also be used with a soft mood light with changing colors or without any mood light.

Use
Before any use or handling, check that the diffuser is switched off and unplugged. Never take your diffuser by holding it by the upper part (the outer cover), always take it in your hand by holding it by its lower part (the base). 1. Place the diffuser on a stable surface, do not place it too close to an edge (it could tip over). Do not place it on or near furniture or surfaces sensitive to moisture.

Do not pour water into the steam outlet or directly into the base.

Remove the outer cover, then remove the water tank (green colored element) from the base by lifting it up.

Step 1: Turn the green water tank upside down. Make a quarter turn counterclockwise only with the fuel tank cap in order to release the small fixing notches. Do not try to unscrew the cap. Step 2: Pull up to dislodge the tank cap. Fill the tank without exceeding the maximum level indicated.

Fill the tank with water at room temperature and sufficiently (between 50 ml and 450 ml). Warning ! If the water level is less than 50ml, the diffuser does not work. Do not use hot water, it may damage the diffuser.

Then add a few drops of essential oil or Puressentiel® diffusion mixture: generally 1 to 2 drops for 10 ml of water. Example: 5 to 10 drops for 50 ml of water (minimum tank level); 45 to 90 drops for 450 ml of water (maximum tank level). Always pour in water at room temperature before adding essential oil or mixture for diffusion.

Step 1: Green water tank upside down, position the cap in front of the base so that the fixing notches easily fit into the housing. Press down to position the fuel filler cap.

Step 2: make a quarter turn clockwise only with the tank cap in order to block the fixing notches.

Reposition the water tank on the base of the diffuser. The water tank will immediately begin to fill the base tank. Then reposition the outer cover.

Insert the adapter tip into the power socket on the back of the diffuser and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
