How to use Puressentiel Anti-Lice Treatment Mask Shampoo?

Read carefully the instructions before use. To be used on dry hair, previously disentangled. Do not add water. 1 / Apply uniformly and in sufficient quantity, so as to cover the entire scalp and hair, from root to tip. 2 / Massage to make the shampoo penetrate well. Insist on the ears, forehead and neck. 3 / Leave on for 30 minutes. 4 / Lightly wet hair, then massage well to create a lather. 5 / Rinse hair thoroughly. 6 / Separate hair in strands. Pass the lice comb provided, strand by strand, from the root to the ends. Between each pass, shake the comb in the sink, rinse with water and wipe it with a brush or a soft cloth to rid it of parasites.

Indicative quantity required for application: 1 tube = 2 treatments on long to mid-length hair and up to 4 applications on short hair.

Use
Check for lice

Using the Paranix Very Fine Tooth Anti-Lice Comb provided with the Shampoo, comb through to thoroughly check each family member’s hair, preferably in daylight. Treat everyone who has lice on the same day to avoid re-infestation.

• It is easier to examine dry hair.
• First, brush to remove knots and then check the hair strand by strand.
• Check the roots, the back of the ears and the back of the neck. It is often in these places that lice and nits are found.
• After each use, thoroughly clean the comb in lukewarm soapy water, in order to avoid any subsequent infestation.

Step 1: Apply Paranix Treatment Shampoo

Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a sufficient amount of Paranix Treatment Shampoo evenly to dry hair, being careful to avoid contact with the eyes. Make sure that the entire hair and scalp is covered with a thick layer of product. Massage well from roots to ends, paying special attention to the neck and the area behind the ears.

200 ml = 4 applications maximum depending on the length of the hair.

Step 2: Leave the product on for 15 minutes

Leave the product on for 15 minutes. It is necessary for successful treatment.

Step 3: Eliminate Lice and Nits

Before washing the hair, use the Paranix anti-lice comb to remove lice and nits.

1 • Comb wet hair with the Paranix lice comb.

2 • Divide the hair into 4 parts: from the forehead to the nape of the neck and, then, from one ear to the other. For long hair, you can braid each part.

3 • Treat each part by isolating fine strands of hair so that the head is visible.

4 • Comb through each section of hair starting as close to the head as possible.

5 • Using the comb, remove every louse and / or slow that you find.

6 • Each lock of hair without slow can be put on the side.

7 • To avoid re-infestation, clean the comb after each strand with a swab or cotton ball and always comb from the top of the head down.

Step 4: Add water and wash the hair

Add enough water to lather the shampoo. Wash and rinse the hair thoroughly.

Be sure to rinse off all of the product. Dry the hair as usual.

Don’t forget to decontaminate the environment

Decontaminate clothing, bed linen, towels and other objects (brushes, combs, etc.) that have been in direct contact with the head by washing them at 60 ° C. Vacuum the house and the car in every nook and cranny and then throw out the vacuum bag. You can also place all items for 2 or 3 days in a closed bag. Lice cannot survive without food.

Important note
Lice cannot develop any resistance to Paranix Treatment Shampoo because its mode of action is not chemical.

However, it is possible that people who have been treated will get head lice again from untreated people (eg at school). Check dry hair to see if any lice remain after 7 days. Repeat the treatment if necessary. In this case, you can use Paranix again without any risk. It will always be as effective.
